Village of Hope Lazarus Project is the grassroots effort of a ever-growing number of individuals and congregations who want to serve in ministry in Haiti. In the context of Jesus' parable of the rich man and Lazarus (Luke 16: 19-30), Haiti’s poor are suffering yet rich in spiritual passion.  Village of Hope Lazarus Project provides financial support to ministries in Haiti as well as opportunities for short term mission teams to serve those ministries.

Village of Hope Lazarus Project is an interdenominational 501(c)(3) organization supported by many churches, organizations and individuals throughout the United States, Canada and Europe.

NOTE ABOUT YEAR END STATEMENTS:
Thank you for your generous support of the Village of Hope in 2011! Because of you, over 600 children were blessed to have an education they could never afford! By this time many of you have received a year-end donors statement from the Village of Hope Lazarus Project. You may have noted that it only includes part of the year of donations. That is because we only have records of the donations sent directly to our office in Boca Raton, FL. We have been assured that Food for the Poor will be sending you a statement that covers any donation you may have made prior to the switch.
