Mobile Medical Pittman Park UMC Statesboro GA

A mobile medical team from Pittman Park United Methodist Church (Statesboro, GA) was here in October. As will be the practice, we worked with the Ministry of Health in determining where the greatest need was for a mobile clinic.   We purchased the medications locally, bagged and labeled them, and had supplies ready and waiting for them. The mobile medical team worked at a tent city in Croix des Bouquets. They saw over 600 patients, many young children in dire need of medical care.  They also provided care to some of the children and staff at VOH School, to children at an orphanage run by one of our translators, to the girls at Marie’s, and to some of the Hope House and Little Children of Jesus staff.
