Christ Our Redeemer, Temple Terrace, FL

The Christ Our Redeemer team led by Pastor Dick Hafer left today after spending a productive week with us.  The main focus of their trip was preparing the Christmas kits for distribution at our ministry sites.  And was their help ever needed!

This year the team again brought name tags so they could personalize a gift for each student at VOH.  They also brought gift bags for each of the teachers.

While the women were busy getting the Christmas gifts ready, Dick involved himself with a few painting projects at Hope House and Andy worked on the computers, several of which he had rounded up and brought with him.  Thanks to his efforts, we now have a good desk top unit at Hope House and several of our university students will have lap tops to help them with their studies.

Although 5 of the 7 members of the team were here last year, none of them had ever seen FFP's PAP facility, including Pastor Dick.  Needless to say, they were quite impressed.  They were also able to visit all our ministry sites, going home with many good things to tell their fellow church members and neighbors about the wonderful things God is doing through our partner ministries.

Open Door

From inside one of the classrooms at Village of Hope, this door, opened through God's Grace, leads to possibilities that the children of Haiti may not have had.
