Lord of Life, Fairfax, and Emmanuel, Vienna, VA (VBS)

This third VBS team for the summer is made up of people from 4 congregations in N. VA:  Lord of Life, St. John's, Nativity and Emmanuel. 

While the first VBS team worked with the middle school children and the last team the secondary school students, this group had the primary aged children.  Enrollment went a little better this time, as we had a full enrollment of 100 students on the Sunday before the beginning of the sessions. VBS was held on Monday through Thursday. Classes were divided into 4 sections:  Bible study, music, crafts and recreation.  Both an opening and a closing were held. 

Friday was tour day.  The team was able to visit Food for the Poor, Little Children of Jesus and Marie's Girls also.
