is now being supported by Impact for Jesus with Jim and Patty Meyer. Jim and Patty visited Marie when they were in Haiti with the Lazarus Project a few years ago. That is when they fell in love with Marie and her girls and 'adopted' them. You can see all that they are doing by visiting Impact for Jesus.

Grace Mission was founded by "Sister" Marie Major. After years in the United States, Marie felt the call of God to return to her homeland of Haiti to serve her people. Using her own funds, she established a combination church/school/orphanage in Bon Repos, a suburb of Port-au-Prince.

She is "mother" to 32 homeless girls and educates over 200 children. She had recently seen the completion of a new church facility, one of her life-long dreams. The Earthquake on January 12th destroyed both the Church and Dormatory for the girls...
